Otto Donald Rogers (b.1935)
Bio
Otto Rogers was born in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan. He received his Masters in Fine Art from the University of Wisconsin in 1959. In the same year he began teaching in the Fine Arts Department of the University of Saskatchewan where he taught until 1988. Rogers is one of Canada’s foremost contemporary practitioners of colour field painting and assembled steel structure. Otto Rogers work is found in the collections of national and international public and private collections including the National Gallery of Canada.
